PAD Trials Terms & Conditions

Before you use PAD Trials, here’s what to know

  • We’re here to help you understand your options, not tell you what to do

  • We do not provide medical advice or replace your doctor

  • We do not endorse any specific clinical trial or treatment

  • Any decision about your care should be made with your healthcare team

  • If you ask us to help connect you to a trial, we will only share your information with your permission


👉 Our goal is simple: give you clarity, support your decisions, and help you move forward with confidence.

1. Who We Are

PAD Trials is an initiative of the Global PAD Association.

We provide a platform to:

  • help patients explore clinical trials and research opportunities

  • offer educational information about peripheral artery disease (PAD)

  • support connections between patients, research teams, and care providers when requested

2. Educational & Informational Use Only

All content provided through PAD Trials is for educational and informational purposes only.

We aim to help you understand available options, but we do not provide clinical care.

 

👉 Medical decisions should always be made between you and your healthcare provider.

3. No Medical Advice

PAD Trials does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nothing on this platform should be interpreted as a recommendation for any specific test, treatment, procedure, or clinical trial.

4. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

PAD Trials helps you understand options and connect with resources, but we are not your healthcare provider.

Use of this platform does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and PAD Trials or its team.

5. No Endorsement of Trials or Treatments

PAD Trials does not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any specific clinical trial, treatment, provider, or outcome.

  • Trials listed on the platform are provided for informational purposes

  • Inclusion on PAD Trials does not mean a study is better, safer, or appropriate for you

  • Each trial has its own risks, benefits, and eligibility requirements

 

👉 You should review all options with your care team before making any decisions.

6. How The Platform Works

PAD Trials:

  • presents information about clinical trials and research opportunities

  • helps explain different types of studies

  • may assist in connecting you with trial sites or care teams when requested


We do not:

  • enroll you in trials

  • determine your eligibility

  • guarantee acceptance into any study

  • guarantee outcomes

7. User Responsibilities

By using PAD Trials, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and truthful information

  • use the platform for lawful purposes only

  • make decisions in consultation with your healthcare provider

  • be respectful to PAD Navigators, researchers, physicians and their teams

  • honor your commitments and respectfully part ways if you choose alternate pathways

  • inform the Global PAD Association, if at any time, you want to be deleted from the database and no longer wish to be notified about research opportunities

 

You are responsible for:

  • how you use the information provided

  • any information you choose to share

  • decisions regarding participation in any trial or treatment

8. Trial Listings & Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but:

  • trial details may change

  • availability and eligibility are determined by study sponsors

  • we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy at all times

9. Third Party Relationships

PAD Trials may connect you with:

  • clinical trial sponsors

  • research sites

  • physicians or care teams

 

We are not responsible for:

  • the actions or decisions of third parties

  • the quality of care provided

  • outcomes of any treatment or trial participation

10. Care Navigation Support

If you request assistance, PAD Trials may:

  • help coordinate introductions to trial sites or care teams

  • provide general guidance on next steps

  • support logistical coordination where appropriate

 

👉 Any sharing of your information only occurs with your explicit consent.

Participation in any trial remains entirely your choice.

11. Privacy

Your use of PAD Trials is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is collected, used, and protected.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on PAD Trials, including:

  • text

  • graphics

  • design

  • branding

is owned by or licensed to PAD Trials.

PAD Trials and the Global PAD Association are not liable for:

  • availability of trials
